We left Cape Cod after a week of festivities and seeing people we haven't talked to in years - great fun!! After the Cape we spent six nights in
Ithaca NY (Actually Spencer NY at our friends' bed and breakfast.) and, again, visited with old friends and also took a drive through the
Finger Lakes Wine Country. Then on Friday we drove across the Peace Bridge into Ontario and visited our friends Charlie & Linda, in
Ridgeway (Ft. Erie). On Saturday we drove up to
Collingwood where we'll stay for July. We were welcomed by our bridge playing buddies, had a surprise party!! - drinks, dinner & three tables of bridge! Wow! What a wonderful welcome. To top it off, it was
Canada Day weekend and we watched fireworks on Sunday and last night. Whew!! Now we can settle in for a month of R&R.
